Steve Bendelack directs this comedy following Mr Bean (Rowan Atkinson) after he wins the top prize of a trip to France in a church fete raffle. A hopeful and starry-eyed Bean boards the Eurostar and hits Paris the only way Bean can, but with the language barrier proving a problem, Bean soon finds himself in trouble, notably as the prime suspect in a kidnapping case.
