This graphic novel tells the story of Henry 'Chippy' McNish from Port Glasgow who was the carpenter on Sir Ernest Shackleton's Antarctic Expedition of 1914-17.His work helped ensure the survival of the crew when disaster struck. But he was one of only four men not to receive the polar medal for his efforts. Many believe that Chippy was treated unfairly and deserves more recognition.
