It’s the 1970’s in the Hebrides and sex and drugs and bacon rolls are all that young Glaswegian doctor Helen MacAllister wants- but can’t get apart from the bacon rolls! Traumatised by recent events and facing being struck off, she is still battling the formidable Mrs Murray her receptionist and the outdated views of some of the villagers.
