'Swan Lake' was first choreographed in 1877 by Marius Petipa and has been tweaked by almost every choreographer since. In this version, Yuri Grigorovich keeps the general outline of the story but adds a twist with his inclusion of a psychological dimension: the evil sorcerer cast as the dark twin of the hero-prince.
